Ford Motor Company
I spent a summer interning at Ford Motor Company as an Experience Architect (XA) Designer, where I worked on challenging, user-focused projects. I had the opportunity to dive deep into understanding Ford’s diverse users and contributed to design strategies aimed at meeting their evolving needs while helping Ford stay competitive in a rapidly changing industry.

Truck Core Experience
Based on the organization's past, present, and future truck design concepts, the goal of this project was to develop a common set of themes derived from user needs that span a portfolio of products. It was an essential effort to help streamline and inform future design work based on what makes a truck a truck, a.k.a, core truck experience.
I was tasked with helping the experience architecture team synthesize and organize the work such that we could identify these experiences.
Project Goals
Maintain consistency across design concepts and vision
Eliminate duplication of work
Identify baseline of needs and opportunities for future work
Key Contributions
How I tackled the challenges of the project:
Challenge 1: Ambiguous goal
Approach: Identified end goal and worked background to create tangible, more bite-sized tasks
Challenge 2: New to conceptual design research
Approach: Observed, asked questions, and leaned into being uncomfortable
Built a repository of past design work to help identify common themes, gaps, and opportunities in truck design concepts.
Synthesized past truck program work to create structure of a core experience.
Organized and led journey mapping exercise with subject matter experts (SMEs) to discover insights about truck user experiences.
Project Dewey
Dewey is an internal platform at Ford Motor Company where you can share projects, connect with teams, and explore other work!
I was tasked with designing UX/UI components for the first iteration roll out that included confidential request interaction for employees and projects, and to conceptualize features that aim to increase user engagement.
Project Goals
Implement best UX design practices to improve overall user flow.
Prototype design concepts that will help increase user engagement and productivity.
Key Contributions
Designed UX/UI confidential project access request flow for project managers and users.
Analyzed user activity via Mouseflow platform to identify trends, patterns, and issues.Prototyped a “recent activity” feed as a potential feature to help increase user engagement.
Prototyped a “recent activity” feed as a potential feature to help increase user engagement.
How I tackled the challenges of the project:
Challenge 1: First time working with developers
Approach: Observed, asked questions, and worked on-one with developers
Challenge 2: Agile workflow
Approach: Organized phases in Miro and Figma, checked in with the PM and asked for feedback
Challenge 3: Quick turnarounds
Approach: Attended daily round-ups, asked questions, and created personal tracker of to do items.
